The Knowledge and Networking Gateway is a key component of the IYBA WE4A programme, designed to strengthen connections, learning, and visibility for women entrepreneurs across Sub-Saharan Africa. It serves as a space where entrepreneurs, mentors, and ecosystem actors come together to exchange insights, build networks, and access practical business knowledge.
Purpose and Approach
The Gateway was created to address the need for stronger knowledge exchange and peer learning among women-led enterprises. By combining business information, role models, and networking opportunities, it helps entrepreneurs navigate challenges, identify new markets, and grow their businesses.
Through a mix of online and offline activities, the platform shares:
- Case studies and success stories that highlight inspiring journeys of women entrepreneurs who are driving change in their communities.
- Analytical briefs and learning materials that explore entrepreneurship trends, challenges, and gender-specific barriers.
- Events and dialogues that connect women entrepreneurs with peers, mentors, investors, and ecosystem builders.
